So, as the site is starting to get more traffic, we’re still constantly adding new things. My question is – what do you guys want to see on this site? More pictures? More articles? More links?
If it’s even slightly possible, I’ll put in as much effort as possible to get it up here – so leave your input in a comment!

Now we know that, at this particular point in time, the above statement probably means close to nothing to you. And to that, we have only one things to say: just. you. wait.
It won’t be long until yo u are a full-fledged Lovetteer, eager to bleed navy and yellow as you go out and conquer the world that is Rice. Armed with a ridiculous amount of preparation, a limitless bank of resources at your fingertips, and an extraordinary network of people who truly want to be there to support you, we can confidently say that you will be ready to dive headfirst into your college experience. Now that all sounds fine and dandy, you’re thinking, but how exactly do I get there? To that, our answer is simple: O-Week.
And that’s where we come in. We are your O-Week Coordinators – Carrie, Enrique, and Katherine – and we exist for one purpose, and one purpose only: to make sure that you have a smooth and happy transition into the next four years of your life. Okay, so maybe the previous statement is a slight exaggeration. Trust us, we have lives, majors, and even friends, but most of the time it seems as if our world revolves exclusively around you.
So that is why we have created this website (along with your O-Week book!). It is intended to serve as one of your first glimpses into Lovett, the hands-down best residential college at Rice (remember this, it will come up a lot), and hopefully it will assuage some of your fears, answer some of your questions, and help you to prepare for the mind-blowing day of August 14th. We can’t promise that this website will have all of the answers, but we can promise that the three of us will be here to answer any of your lingering questions and provide calification wherever it is neeeded. So feel free to email, call, text, or even come visit us (see our contact information in the Preparations section) because we would love nothing more than to hear from you. Seriously, we will be jumping up and down. And freaking out. And there might be some screaming involved. And definitely a lot of general flailing. We love you already.
